Grab your jump rope and let’s move back in time:
- 0-5 minutes – Jump rope (get the hang of it again) for 30 seconds, rest for 30 seconds and repeat this sequence for 5 minutes.
- 5-11 minutes – Alternate 30 seconds of jumping rope at a normal pace and 30 seconds of super-fast, high intensity jumping rope. Continue to repeat.
- 11-14 minutes – Now you are shooting for 1 minute of easy jumping rope and 1 minute of high intensity jumping rope. Continue to repeat.
- 14-15 minutes – Now you are into your winding down phase. Jump rope has fast as you can for 10 seconds and rest for 10 seconds. Continue this sequence until you have completed 1 minute.
Another bonus is that this quick and effective HIIT workout promotes a long afterburn. This means you are continuing to flood your body with anti-aging oxygen for at least 45 minutes after you stop jumping rope!
